Jennifer Conroyd, Founder and CEO of Fluid Running
Jennifer created Fluid Running in 2011 after she tore her calf muscle six weeks prior to the Chicago Marathon. Resolved to finish the race, she trained by running solely in the deep water and not only finished the race, but qualified for the Boston Marathon. Her company, Fluid Running, offers group fitness classes, which has been named "One of the 20 Best Workouts in America." The company recently launched Fluid Running H2Go, an app-based, fully coached deep-water running workout that has been nominated for the 2018 Chicago Innovation Award. Jennifer was just named a finalist for the 2018 Women in Tech Founders Award.
Diana Dionisio, Director of Sponsorship Solutions, WGN-TV
Diana is the leader in the development and implementation of public relations strategy, sponsorships, partnerships, community alliances, special events and marketing and promotions for WGN-TV. As one of Chicago's Very Own, she develops strategic and innovative programs and leads cross-functional teams to promote the station, advertisers and sponsors to reach target audiences and again business goals. Diana is also a speaker and panelist at universities for career fairs and events, and she is an 8-year member of the Board of Directors for the College of Media in the Department of Advertising at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Joanne Ivory, Associate Dean of Continuing Education, College of DuPage
Dr. Ivory has responsibility for overall Continuing Education strategic directions program review and major initiatives. She works to ensure efficient and effective use of facilities, fiscal and human resources to create individual courses and professional development programs that serve the general and professional communities. Her leadership in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, action plans and setting priorities fosters collaboration with division administrators, faculty and staff.
Terry Sullivan, Major League Baseball Scout, Boston Red Sox
While he was the head coach at Lyons Township High School, Terry had the opportunity to mentor seven different MLB draft picks. He turned "pro" in 1999 after the Florida Marlins approached him about becoming a scouting consultant for their MLB franchise. In 2002, he made the move to the Boston Red Sox organizaiton and continues in his role today as one of two Midwest scouting consultants for Red Sox Nation. Terry is also the owner and manager of Walk Chicago Tours, a privately-owned tour company that provides customized, small-group walking narratives of Chicago's diverse historic and ethnic neighborhoods.
